Broker Research Reports, one of the first features launched by Trendlyne, compiles analyst reports in PDF or HTML formats for users. Users can download and read these detailed research reports. The aggregation of data has average target prices, and overall Buy-Sell-Hold recommendations.

The broker reports section has some limitations due to the availability of reports and average target prices mentioned in the reports. The Forecaster product however, has a larger set of recommendations beyond what's available in PDFs or full reports. The Forecaster dataset also includes calls from institutional analysts, who do not typically make full reports available to retail investors.  

This larger dataset includes detailed information beyond target prices and buy-sell-hold recommendations. Forecaster provides analyst consensus targets for revenues, profits, capex, free cash flows, etc.

Forecaster provides this extensive collection of earnings estimates from analysts for around 900 companies. It delivers consensus estimates for target prices, earnings per share (EPS), dividends, capital expenditures, interest expenses, depreciation, and buy/sell/hold consensus. 

To summarize, the data available in Forecaster is a superset of Broker Reports. For eg, Infosys is covered by 11 analysts in Broker Reports but by 38 analysts in the Forecaster section.
